The IDeA supports improvement and innovation in local government. It works with local authorities and their associates to develop and share good practice. We do this through networks, online resources, and support from councillor and officer peers.
London Councils is committed to fighting for more resources for the capital and getting the best possible deal for London’s 33 local authorities. This organisation develops policy and can to help our boroughs improve the services they deliver. They run a range of services all designed to make life better for Londoners.
In 1997, local government created the Local Government Association (LGA) to be its voice in the national arena. This organisation campaign for changes in policy, legislation and funding on behalf of our member councils and the people and communities they serve. The LGA is a voluntary membership body and our 422 (TBC) member authorities cover every part of England and Wales.
The LGiU is an independent think-tank and a resource for local government. Our teams of policy analysts are experts in local government. They provide practical policy advice, training, consultancy, public affairs services and other resources to our members and other organisations.

A CVS is owned and run by local groups to support, promote and develop local community action. As such it has to be accountable to its local sector. CVS support their members by providing them with services and by acting as a voice for the local voluntary and community sector.
The CLCVS Network comprises the seven CVS from the boroughs of: Southwark; Islington; Camden; Kensington and Chelsea; Westminster; Lambeth; Wandsworth.
